I am a dedicated yoga teacher and mentor with over a decade of experience, specializing in supporting students of all levels through personalized, mindful movement and functional movement based practices.
I draw extensively from my own life experiences with aches, pains, and injury recovery, as well as the transformative wisdom gained during pregnancy and postpartum. Collaborating with physiotherapists, engaging in strength training, and practicing clinical pilates have further enriched my teaching, enabling me to offer practical, functional guidance tailored to my students’ unique needs. For many years, I was the senior teacher at Yoga4Stiff People™, where I had the privilege of mentoring and training teachers to bring yoga to a wider audience. My approach is informed by compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to empowering others on their journey toward greater strength, mobility, and balance. |
My weekly Hatha Flow classes emphasize intelligent, creative sequencing, a focus on body mechanics, uplifting music, and the breath. I incorporate props, modifications, and demonstrations to ensure the practice is accessible and empowering for new students while offering opportunities for returning students to feel challenged. Above all, my classes invite you to step into the present moment—to connect deeply, explore freely, and embrace a sense of play.
Off the mat, I find endless inspiration in my son and his wonder at the world. I love dancing to live music, playing records, tending to my garden, exploring the woods, and unwinding with a good book.
