My weekly Hatha Flow classes focus on intelligent, creative sequencing, postural alignment, good tunes and the breath. I includes the use of props, modifications and demonstrations to create an accessible class where new students feel empowered and returning students feel challenged. Most importantly, I invite you to step into the present, to connect deeply, to explore and to play!
My personal practice consists of a lot of conscious breathing, release work with massage balls, simple strengthening and relaxing postures steeped with meditation and mindfulness.
Off the mat I'm inspired by my son and his wonder at the world! I love dancing to live music and listening to records, spending time in the garden, adventuring in the woods and relaxing with a good book.
TEACHING, TRAINING & MENTORING
I trained in Anusara with Chris Chavez, Vinyasa with Clara Roberts-Oss and Meditation with Carolyn Anne Budgell. I have continued my education with Sean Haleen and Christine Price Clark. I have also learned so much from my own experiences with aches & pains, pregnancy, postpartum, working with physiotherapists, doing clinical pilates and strength training and I bring this wealth of practical knowledge to my teaching.
