Participant Agreement, Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Assumption of Risk
By purchasing and/or registering for any workshop, class, or series, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this document. This includes a release of liability, waiver of claims, and assumption of risk. Please read carefully before completing your purchase.
Acknowledgment and Informed Consent
I understand that participation in yoga classes, workshops, private sessions, yoga therapy sessions, retreats, online classes, prerecorded programs, and other related wellness activities offered by Bless Leone ("activities") involves physical movement and carries a risk of injury. I acknowledge that the risk of injury cannot be completely eliminated.
I confirm that I am responsible for listening to my body, practicing within my limits, and informing the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect my participation. I understand that yoga and yoga therapy are not substitutes for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment, and I will consult a qualified healthcare professional if I have concerns about participating.
I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to ask questions about these activities and voluntarily choose to participate.
Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to injury arising from yoga postures, movement, physical exertion, participation in group activities, physical adjustments or assistance from the instructor, or the use of props or equipment.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release and discharge Bless Leone from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from my participation in the activities, including those resulting from the negligence of the instructor.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bless Leone from any claims, demands, damages, or actions arising from my participation in the activities.
Facilities and Practice Environment
I understand that classes, workshops, sessions, or retreats may take place in community centres, studios, retreat venues, rented facilities, private homes, outdoor spaces, or online environments. I accept responsibility for my own safety within these environments.
When participating in online or prerecorded sessions, I acknowledge that I am responsible for creating and maintaining a safe practice environment and for the safe use of any equipment or props.
Recordings and Online Participation
I understand that some online classes or workshops may be recorded for replay or educational purposes. I may disable my camera or microphone at any time. I understand that my displayed name in online platforms such as Zoom may be visible to other participants.
Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation in these activities is voluntary and that I am free to stop participation at any time.
Participant Declaration
I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older and physically and mentally able to participate safely in these activities. Participation is voluntary and I am responsible for my own well‑being during practice.
Binding Agreement
I understand that this agreement is a legal contract. I confirm that I have read and understood it and that the terms of this waiver are clear to me. I sign it voluntarily and of my own free will. This agreement is binding on me and my heirs, next of kin, executors, and personal representatives.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Severability
If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Ongoing Participation
This waiver applies to all current and future participation in activities with Bless Leone unless a new waiver is provided or this agreement is replaced.
Electronic Agreement
By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any online class, workshop, retreat, or prerecorded program, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to this Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims.
